Payton Bolton grew up in Teague, Texas and graduated from Teague High School in 2019. During her senior year, she enrolled in a Dual Credit English course from Navarro College before attending Sam Houston State University for two years. Payton does “a little bit of everything” and wants to write more music to share with the world. She loves to read, write, spend time in nature, and watch horror movies. She says she is both “nervous and excited” to perform at Legacy. Her proudest accomplishment is when she sang second chair in the top choir in Texas for UIL when she was 13. Payton loves to sing because she feeling singing is like “sharing a piece of [her] soul, no matter the song.”
