Jerod & Amy Casey

Amy and Jerod Casey are honored to participate in this year’s Dancing for Our Stars (DFOS), each bringing their own heartfelt reasons for stepping into the spotlight. For Amy, a proud Navarro College graduate, DFOS is a meaningful way to give back to the school that shaped her early adulthood. She jokes that she did not have much of a choice after Dustin and Shannon encouraged her to join, but she is genuinely excited to reconnect with a community she loves. Jerod, who readily admits he is not a dancer, saw the event as a valuable opportunity to serve others and support a cause close to their hearts.
Both Amy and Jerod share deep Texas roots. Amy grew up in Blooming Grove before attending Navarro College and later earning her bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M Commerce. Today, she teaches fourth grade in Ennis and is known by friends as bubbly, loyal, and full of joy. Jerod grew up in Waxahachie and Italy before attending Navarro College, then continuing his studies at Tarleton State University and Baylor University, where he pursued theology. His background in ministry reflects his passion for faith, leadership, and uplifting the people around him.
Married for eight years, Amy and Jerod are raising four energetic children who keep their home full of laughter and activity. They spend much of their time supporting youth sports, serving in their church, and staying involved in their community. With hearts for service and a shared commitment to their family and faith, Amy and Jerod are stepping onto the DFOS dance floor ready to learn, grow, and give their absolute best.
