Kevin & Lisa Eubanks

Kevin and Lisa Eubanks decided to dance for Navarro College’s Dancing for Our Stars (DFOS) after watching close friends take the floor in recent years. Lisa lovingly “voluntold” Kevin it was their turn, knowing their personalities would shine. While they’re most comfortable with a country two-step, they’re excited to step outside that comfort zone and try something new like possibly a spicy salsa or contemporary routine. What really drew them to DFOS is its impact and the way it gives back to Navarro College, its faculty, and its students.
Lisa grew up in Waxahachie before moving to Corsicana in 1985. A proud Corsicana High School (CHS) graduate from the Class of 1986, she was a Cherokee Charmer on the drill team and later danced for Navarro College’s Showstoppers, a newly formed team at the time. Dance has always been a part of Lisa’s life, making this experience especially meaningful. Friends would describe her as fun, loud, spontaneous, adventurous, and fiercely loyal.
Kevin moved to Corsicana from Kentucky in 1982 and also graduated from CHS in 1986. He credits his parents, along with mentors and employers in the community, for shaping the man he is today. Kevin and Lisa met while attending Navarro College in 1988 and married in 1990. Shortly after, Kevin enlisted in the U.S. Army, launching a life of service that included nine moves, three deployments, and assignments ranging from Hawaii to Germany.
Together, they’ve been married for 35 years and have three children Austin (31), Kate (23), and Cash (10). After 30 years away, they returned home to Corsicana in 2020 and have loved reconnecting with old friends while making new ones. Deeply involved in church, school, and community life, Kevin and Lisa are grateful to call Corsicana home and excited to give back but this time, on the dance floor.
